Business Chemar Rurociągi Sp. z o.o. thanks to its experience in the energy sector, solid technical background, certificates and production of pipelines/pressure installations - it is among the Polish companies that are currently preparing to cooperate in the planned construction of the first AP 1000 Nuclear Power Plant by the consortium Westinghouse Electric Company and Bechtel Global Corporation.
In November 2023, the company entered into an agreement with EDF (French energy company) "Memorandum of Cooperation"—a cooperation agreement—along with several other Polish companies aimed at building a European supply chain as part of the nuclear energy renaissance. This initiative is part of EDF's strategy, which assumes that local industrial companies—including suppliers of pipelines, steel structures, valves, tanks, and transformers—will be prepared to manufacture components for nuclear power plants. In this context, Chemar Rurociągi stands out among domestic companies—as a pipeline manufacturer with experience in the energy sector, giving it a real opportunity to become a supplier for nuclear projects.
In November 2021 in Warsaw the company Chemar Rurociągi Sp. z o.o. signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Mutual Cooperation on Nuclear New Build in the Republic of Poland with a company belonging to the TeamKorea expert group – Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction. The aim of the agreement is to establish close cooperation in the supply of pipeline components for planned investments involving the construction of new nuclear power units in Poland.
Although Chemar Rurociągi Sp. z o.o. has experience and certificates for industrial and conventional energy, the nuclear industry often requires additional, very restrictive standards – e.g. regarding quality control, strict safety procedures, documentation, certification in accordance with nuclear standards.
By joining the supply chain for nuclear projects, the company is ready for audits, adjustments to production processes, employee training, documentation and compliance with international standards applicable in the nuclear sector.

They also actively participate in conferences, webinars and training courses related to the construction of nuclear power plants in Poland, organized mainly by Chamber of Commerce for Energy and Environment (IGEOŚ) and Ministry of Energy The aim of the training is to improve the competences of Polish industry and familiarize enterprises with the business and technical requirements of nuclear technology suppliers: Westinghause-Bechtel (USA), KHNP (South Korea) and EDF (France).
